If you have been wanting for good charting of Australian shares Ninja Trader is the best in my opinion. Now Yahoo allow for free End of Day Data and loading an ASX list is an easy process. You can see how good the SQ1000 signals are on BHP & ANZ. It makes life so much easier when you are using the right tools for the Job. I have been trading in Australian shares since 1997 and I always wonder how far better off I would be if I had started with the right charting tools from the beginning. The big advantage is free END of Day Data. It will be a blessing when Yahoo roll their sleeves up and start giving out 20 minute delayed Tick data.

I have released the 2015 updates of all my Indicators with a special offer expires end of Feb 2015 Here. The Indicators can now be easily used within the strategy wizard to make back testing ASX shares that much easier.
Missing data with Yahoo.
For some reason Yahoo and Ninja Trader have a little trouble communicating but you can use the Historical Data Manager to get what you want. On Ninja Control Centre select tools and second from the top Historical Data Manager. Select the download page , the share code in the example I chose ANZ. The dates you want to download remember that Yahoo is on US time so it will be a day behind us.
Click the download button and a few seconds later your chart should be fixed. It seems to be pretty good once fixed up.
Last but not least it might pay to check your session manager again under tools on the control centre. Select session manager and AUS CFD (or whatever you name it) is the template. 9am till 4pm for me at Brisbane area to allow for daylight savings.
